01 · The arrangement
What an affiliate link means
An affiliate link contains tracking information that tells a retailer or booking platform that you arrived from GoReviewTrip. If you follow that link and complete an eligible purchase, the partner may pay GoReviewTrip a commission.
The commission is paid by the partner. GoReviewTrip does not add a separate fee to your booking, although prices and terms can still change on the partner’s website.
02 · Editorial independence
Our editorial promise
- Usefulness comes first. A product, service or booking option should earn its place by being relevant to the trip being discussed.
- Commercial relationships do not buy a positive opinion. A commission does not remove trade-offs, limitations or practical concerns from a review.
- Sponsored work is labelled separately. If a partner pays for coverage or provides a material benefit, the article should say so clearly.
03 · Programs
Partners you may see
Depending on the article, affiliate links may point to accommodation, activity, travel-insurance or retail services. Programs referenced by GoReviewTrip have included Booking.com, Agoda, GetYourGuide, Viator, Amazon Associates and SafetyWing. Partners can change over time, and not every external link is an affiliate link.
Where qualifying Amazon links appear, GoReviewTrip may earn from qualifying purchases.
04 · Recognition
How links are identified
Articles containing affiliate links should include a disclosure near the beginning of the story or close to the relevant recommendation. You remain free to visit the provider directly, compare alternatives or choose not to purchase.
Questions
Ask us about a link.
If a commercial relationship is unclear, send the article URL and the link in question. We will review the disclosure.
