Who we are

GoReviewTrip is an English-language travel website available at goreviewtrip.com. It is owned and operated by Lyra Kowalska, a travel publisher based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Information we may receive

Messages you send

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, subject and message. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Newsletter signups

When you join the email list, we store the email address you submit, the part of the site where the form appeared and the signup time in a private WordPress admin list. We use this information only to manage the list and send occasional GoReviewTrip updates.

Comments, when enabled

If comments are available, WordPress may collect the information shown in the comment form together with an IP address and browser information for moderation and spam prevention.

Technical records

The web server, security tools and caching services may create limited logs such as the requested page, time, browser type, referring page and IP address. These records help deliver pages, diagnose errors and protect the site.

Cookies

The site may use necessary or preference cookies for WordPress sessions, comment convenience, security and caching. Affiliate partners or embedded services may set their own cookies after you interact with them; their policies govern those cookies.

Article view counts

The article counter stores an aggregate number against each post. Your browser keeps a recent-view marker for six hours so repeated refreshes do not immediately inflate the total; the marker does not contain your email address or create a reader profile.

Service providers and external websites

Information may be processed by providers that help host, secure, cache or operate the website and contact form. They receive only the information needed to provide those services and are subject to their own legal and contractual obligations.

Articles can link to booking platforms, retailers and other websites. GoReviewTrip does not control their data practices. Review a provider’s privacy notice before submitting personal or payment information.

Retention and your rights

Messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain a record of the conversation or meet legal obligations. Newsletter details are kept until you ask to unsubscribe or delete them. Technical logs and third-party records follow the retention periods of the relevant provider.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to request a portable copy. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

To make a request, email us with enough information to identify the relevant message or contribution. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

06 · Safeguards

Security, children and policy changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid sending unnecessary confidential information.

GoReviewTrip is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

This policy may be updated when the website or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of the page will be revised when that happens.
